Frederick J. Landolfi, 92, died Friday, March 15, 2024 after a short illness, surrounded by his loving family. Born and raised in Stoughton, he attended Stoughton High School. Shortly thereafter, he joined the US Army and proudly served his country during the Korean Conflict from 1952-1954.  Following his Honorable Discharge, he returned home and later married Eileen M. Howard in 1956.  Fred and Eileen enjoyed 67 years of marriage and raised 7 beloved children.  He was a resident of Raynham since 1980.  Fred was the owner of Landy’s Market in Raynham for more than 20 years, retiring in 1998.  Prior to that he worked as the Grocery Manager at Roxie’s Supermarket in Stoughton for several years.  He was an honorary lifetime member of the Portuguese National Club in Stoughton as well as The Sons of Italy in Stoughton and the American Legion in Raynham. Fred was a dedicated husband and father. He was a passionate card player and an avid fan of the Boston sports teams.  Above all, he treasured his time spent with his beloved family and friends.  

In addition to his wife, Eileen M. (Howard) Landolfi, he is survived by his children, Jeanne E. Ouellet and her husband Norman of New Bedford, Diane L. Papadopoulos and her husband Philip of Dighton, James F. Landolfi and his wife Lori of Wareham, Terri A. Pergola and her husband Salvadore of Raynham, Mark A. Landolfi and his wife Eliane of Taunton, Susan M. Landolfi-Cousins and her husband Dean and Steven J. Landolfi and his wife Kristine all of Raynham.  He was the brother of Eugene Landolfi of Sharon, Mary Derois, Richard Landolfi and William Landolfi all of Stoughton, Edward Landolfi of Brockton, Ann Dugay of NH and the late Joseph, Francis, Paul and Charles Landolfi. He is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 13 great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and cousins and was predeceased by one grandchild.

 Private family services will be held with burial with Military Honors at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton.  Donations in Fred’s memory may be made to Paralyzed Veterans of America, National Processing Center, P.O. Box 758542, Topeka, KS 66675-8542.
