Frederick K. Little

Frederick Keith Little, son of the late Walter J. Little and the late Edna L. Little, was born on February 6, 1958 in Boston, Massachusetts and was raised and educated in Stoughton. Freddie, 64, departed this life on April 17, 2022 after a courageous battle with cancer.

After graduating from Stoughton High School, Freddie briefly attended Curry College, studying as an electrician. Fred had a love for music, reading, watching movies, and playing basketball. He also enjoyed riding motorcycles and was a member of the Red Knights Motorcycle Club. While working at his family's childcare business, Freddie met Frances Haynes and to this union his son, James Keith Haynes Little was born.

Fred would go on to graduate from The Massachusetts Fire Academy and was appointed to the Stoughton Fire Department on January 8, 1989. Fred was a very well-respected senior man of Group 1. Freddie was a member of Stoughton Fire Fighters Local 1512 and served as a firefighter for the last 33 years. Over the course of his career, he was recognized several times for valor including rescuing multiple people from fires.

He leaves to cherish his memory: his siblings Clarence "Jeffrey" Little (Gail) of Boston, Jacqueline Massie of Florida, and Dennis Little of Boston; his son, James Keith Little of New Jersey; his grandchildren, Aliyah and Cameron Little; a host of nieces and nephews; his brothers and sisters at the SFD, and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Sunday, April 24, 2022 from 1-3 PM with Memorial Remembrances at 3 PM.
