George T. Brenza Jr., 57 of Hampstead, New Hampshire formally of Raynham, Massachusetts passed away peacefully February 13, 2022 at his home surrounded with love after a courageous battle with cancer these past 12 months. He was the husband of 35 years of Dale L. (Tansey) Brenza. Born in Hartford, Connecticut he was raised in Connecticut before moving to Raynham in 1981. He was the son of the late George T. Brenza and Carol S. (Edwards) Brenza.
George was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham Regional High School class of 1984. After graduation he attended Wentworth Institute of Technology and then started his long time career in the construction field working for J. Derenzo Company for the past 14 years. He was a hardworking and dedicated employee.
He was a resident of Raynham for over 30 years before moving to New Hampshire 5 months ago to be closer to his daughter and her family. George was a devoted husband and father. In his free time, George enjoyed many years of snowmobiling with his friends up north, spending time building projects, wood working, and always finding new ideas to do around his home. He enjoyed the time spent with his family and friends. In addition to his wife, Dale, he is survived by his daughter Nicolle S. (Brenza) Lamontagne and her husband Bryan of New Hampshire. George was a loving and proud Pawpa (grandfather) to Grayson B. Lamontagne and was waiting the birth of his second grandchild in the spring. He is also survived by his sister, Tracey A. Brenza of Florida. He leaves many caring relatives and friends and will be missed.
Visiting hours will be held in Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27) Stoughton, MA on Saturday, February 26, 2022 from 1-3pm. Funeral Service and burial will be private in New Hampshire.
