Gregory J. Bartlett

Gregory J. Bartlett, age 65, passed away unexpectedly at his residence in Bourne on December 9, 2022. Born in Dorchester, he was the son of the late Margaret “Tweedie” (Glancy) and Lawrence C. Bartlett and was a longtime resident of Stoughton before moving to the Cape in 2016.  Greg leaves behind his wife of 40 years, Cynthia L. (Schiffer) Bartlett. He worked for the Stoughton Housing Authority for over 20 years, spending several years as the Director of Housing, and retired several years ago. Greg loved the ocean, Cape Cod Canal, fishing, travelling and spending time with his friends and family. He had a great sense of humor, would light up any room he walked into, and would always lend a hand to anyone in need. Greg's family was his pride and joy, and greatest accomplishment in his life.  He was loved by many and will be greatly missed by those who had the honor of knowing him.

In addition to his wife Cindy, Greg is survived by his daughters Jacqueline M. Johnson and her husband Shane and Nicole M. Bartlett. He also leaves behind his granddaughter Savanna Rae and was awaiting a grandson in the coming months.  He is also survived by his many close friends he has grown to cherish over the years.

Visiting Hours will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27) Stoughton, on Thursday, December 15^th from 3-6PM, followed by Funeral Prayers at 6PM. In lieu of flowers, donations in Greg’s memory may be made to a charity of one’s choice.
