Heather Marie Wakefield

Heather Marie Wakefield, 44, a resident of Sagamore, died unexpectedly at Cape Cod Hospital in Hyannis on Monday, September 7, 2020. She was the wife of Robert L. Watson. Daughter of David A. Wakefield of Taunton and Susan M. (Dennen) Morceau of Florida, she was born in Portsmouth, NH and raised in Raynham. Heather was a graduate of Bridgewater-Raynham High School and Massasoit Community College. She resided in Stoughton for over 10 years before moving to Sagamore 5 years ago. Heather was a bartender at LaStoria Restaurant in Stoughton for 15 years before bartending at the Public House in Stoughton for the past 5 years. She enjoyed going to the beach but her greatest joy was spending time with her family and pub pals.

In addition to her husband and parents, Heather is survived by her daughters, Desiree L. Wakefield of Bourne and Jada C. Watson of Stoughton. She was the sister of Sheri Cassidy of Bridgewater, Lindsey Ruschioni and Seth Bradford both of Bourne, Joshua Wakefield of Taunton, Kristen Bradford of Spain and Kandace El of Marstons Mills. She is also survived by her mother-in-law, Paulette Watson, her sisters-in-law, Farah Watson, Amanda Watson and Maura Watson and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, September 14 from 4-7 PM. Funeral Service Private. Masks and social distancing required. In lieu of flowers, donations in Heather's name may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 417005, Boston, MA 02241-7005.
