Ida A. (Fowler) Jackson, 71, died Friday, December 11, 2020, at the Boston Medical Center in Boston after a long period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Gerald E. Jackson. Born in Brockton, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and attended Stoughton schools. Ida was a longtime resident of Stoughton. She worked as a cashier at Shaw's in Stoughton for many years, retiring in 1992. Ida enjoyed knitting, crocheting, reading and fishing. She also enjoyed listening to the oldies and spending time with her family.
Mrs. Jackson is survived by her children; Gerald E. Jackson, Jr. of ID, Faith A. Jackson of Stoughton, David E. Jackson of Brockton and Buddy E. Jackson of Lee. She was the sister of Nancy Fowler of Stoughton, Michael Fowler and Richard Fowler both of Brockton. She was the grandmother of Angela Jackson, Nicholas Donofrio, Alyssa Jackson and Nova Jackson and is also survived by her great grandson Daniel Donofrio.
Due to Covid 19 restrictions, private family services were held with burial at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne.
