Jane M. (Broderick) Hall

Jane M. (Broderick) Hall, 59, a resident of Dunedin, Florida, died peacefully at home on Monday, October 17, 2022 with her loving husband and sister Kathleen by her side.  She was the wife of Peter J. Hall.  Daughter of the late Frank A. and Maureen (Duffy) Broderick, she was born in Boston and raised in West Newton.  She was a graduate of Newton North High School, Class of 1981 and Regis College in Weston, Class of 1985.  She resided in Canton for 20 years before moving to Dunedin in 2016.  Jane was a proofreader for Cahner’s Publishing in Newton before working for Fidelity in Boston for over 15 years.  She enjoyed playing golf but her greatest joy was spending time with her husband and extended family.

 

In addition to her husband, Jane is survived by her siblings, Francis Broderick, Jr. of Ramsey, NJ, Kathleen Broderick of Newtonville and Julie Hand of Needham.  She was the aunt of Ashley, Alexandra, Brittany, Scott, Cameron and Maureen and great-aunt of Mason and Erin.  She was the special “Auntie Janie” to Alexandra Bernardo.  She is also survived by her brother-in-law, George Hall and his wife Michelle of Oxford, PA, her longtime friend, Jennifer Rako and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

 

Funeral will be held from Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, October 27 from 10-10:30 AM followed by a graveside service at Knollwood Memorial Park, 321 High St., Canton at 11 AM.  Visiting Hours will be held on Wednesday, October 26 from 4-7 PM.  Donations in Jane’s memory may be made to the Moffitt Cancer Center Foundation, 12902 Magnolia Drive, Tampa, FL 33612 or www.moffitt.org.
