Jean M. (Driscoll) Carlo

Jean M. (Driscoll) Carlo, a longtime resident of Stoughton, age 77, passed away peacefully at her daughter’s residence in Stoughton on May 12, 2025. She was preceded in death by her husband of 9 years, John Carlo who passed away in 1993. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John Driscoll and Rite Marie Driscoll, and was raised and educated in Boston, graduating from St. Claire’s High School in Roslindale. In her 20’s, she bought the home that she grew up in, where she made many memories in her early years of life. She worked at Hill Holiday out of Boston, where she had a knack for all things numbers, spreadsheets and accounting, and then went on to work as an Administrative Assistant in Real Estate before retiring at age 65. Jean was a longtime member of the Grace Church in Avon, enjoyed reading the bible, staying devoted to her faith, and listening to Charles Stanley Sermons. She liked to play card games, solitaire, and do crossword puzzles to keep her brain stimulated. She was a dedicated mother and Nana and will be greatly missed.

Jean is survived by her children Paul Kronmiller and his wife Meghan of Hull, Donna Hernandez and her husband Santos of Stoughton, and Lynn Kronmiller or Springfield. She was the loving Nana to Brendan Buttner and his wife Sophia, Olivia Hernandez, John Kronmiller, and Ruthie Kronmiller. She also leaves behind her sisters Jackie Lindsey and her husband Tom of Norton and Joan Harninger of Suffield, CT.

Visitation will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton, on Thursday May 22nd from 5-7 PM. Burial will be held privately. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital at https://www.stjude.org/donate.
