Jean M. (Coughlin) McDougall, 75, a resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home after a lengthy illness, surrounded by her family. Daughter of the late Gerard and Catherine (McLaughlin) Coughlin, she was born and raised in Boston. She was a longtime employee of the MIT Endicott House in Dedham until her retirement in March of 2007. In her spare time, she enjoyed doing her crossword puzzles and spending time with her granddaughter, Maddie.
Jean was the wife of Thomas McDougall of Amesbury. She was the loving mother of Michael G. McDougall and his wife Karen of Stoughton and Stephen McDougall of Stoughton. She was the adored grandmother of Madison Jean McDougall of Stoughton. She was the beloved sister of Geri O'Leary of Roslindale and is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
