Jean Louise (Coulter) Rachlen

Jean Louise (Coulter) Rachlen, 72, died peacefully at Copley at Stoughton on Friday, November 14, 2025. Daughter of the late William H. and Catherine M. (Flynn) Coulter, she was born in Boston and raised in Stoughton. Jean was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1971. She was a longtime resident of Stoughton before moving to Easton 8 years ago. She was a clerk at Marshall’s in Canton for over 40 years before retiring 7 years ago. She enjoyed playing Bingo and board games but her greatest joy was spending time with family and friends.

Jean was the sister of Nancy A. Puckett of Avon, Mary T. Coulter-Bennett and her husband Steven of Stoughton and the late William J. Coulter and Joyce M. Coulter. She is also survived by her former husband and friend, Wayne Rachlen as well as her nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Friday, November 21 from 10-11:30 AM followed by Funeral Prayers at 11:30 AM. A private burial will take place at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Jean’s memory may be made to Cops for Kids with Cancer, PO Box 850956, Braintree, MA 02185 or www.copsforkidswithcancer.org.
