Jeanette (Maloof) Richardson

Jeanette (Maloof) Richardson, 89, of Middleboro passed away Monday, October 23,2023, at The Hannah B.G. Shaw home where she has lived for the past 6 years. She was a woman of strong faith and loved her children and grandchildren dearly.

Daughter of the late Naseeb B. Maloof and Lillian (Younis) Maloof, she grew up in the South End of Boston with a large extended family and a cherished group of friends. Jeanette raised her family in Stoughton and worked at The South Shore National Bank in Canton for many years. She also worked for Gillette before joining the Stoughton District Court, eventually transferring to Taunton District Court from where she retired in May of 2000. Prior to moving to the Shaw home, Jeanette lived in Taunton surrounded by wonderful caring neighbors. She had lived in Dighton with her daughter Terri and family for many years.

Jeanette enjoyed traveling with her sisters and friends, loved the slots at the casinos, and playing whist. She was a keen scrabble player and loved watching Jeopardy. We often marveled at her knowledge of trivia which allowed her to provide so many answers to those clues. Jeanette made friends wherever she went and would often chat with the store clerks who had come to know her while on her many bargain hunting trips. At the Shaw home, Jeanette enjoyed the companionship and caring of all the staff and loved to participate in the many activities offered there. She was fortunate to be followed by the hospice staff from Compassionate Care.

Jeanette leaves her daughter Beverly Brady and her husband Bernie, her daughter Cheryl Moses and her husband Ted, and her son-in-law, Michael Sheehan. She has 10 grandchildren, Brianne Kessimian (Paul), Taryn Dickey (Chris), Jeffrey Sheehan (Richmond), Bobby Moses (Katie), Tracy Moses, Patrick Brady (Boopa), Kevin Sheehan, Christopher Brady (Victoria), Timmy Moses and Brandon Sheehan (Bryanna). She also has 10 great-grandchildren-Isabella and Alex Kessimian, Charlotte and Juliette Dickey, Colton, Jace, and Rafe Moses, PJ and Mack Brady and Sophia Brady. In addition, Jeanette has several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Jeanette was predeceased by her daughter, Terri Sheehan, her sisters and brother, Mary Abboud, Frances Millay, Evelyn Dove and Ferris Maloof as well as her dearest friend Peggy Sullivan.
