John A. Durning, Jr.

John A. Durning, Jr., age 61, passed away on December 26, 2022 at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton and was a resident of Taunton. Born in Newton, he was the son of Sabina (Dunn) and the late John A. Durning, Sr. He was the brother to Susan Barbato and her husband David of Stoughton, Jeffrey Durning and his husband Al Lopes of Dallas, TX and Alicia Schiavone and her husband James of Merrimac, MA, and also leaves behind 5 nieces and nephews. He liked to draw and paint, and he was also skilled in carving model ships paying close attention to detail. He was devoted to his siblings and his family, and will be missed by those who knew him.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date to be determined.
