John G. Rusilko

John G. Rusilko, 81, a longtime resident of South Easton, died peacefully at home on Monday, August 19, 2019 surrounded by his loving family. Son of the late John and Rheta E. (Watson) Rusilko, he was born in Brockton and raised in Stoughton. John was a graduate of Norfolk County Agricultural High School, Class of 1956. He served in the U.S. National Guard for several years. He was a resident of South Easton since 1963. John was a mechanic at Norwood Airport, worked at Nortronics and Teradyne as a field service engineer for many years. He also performed contract work for Raytheon. John was a member of the Mason's Lodge in Easton. He enjoyed woodworking, fishing, reading, small engine repairs, crossword puzzles and gardening, especially tomatoes.

John is survived by his sons, Michael Russell of Wareham and Daniel Russell and his wife Heather of Brockton, as well as his grandchildren, Nicholas Russell and Abby Russell. He was the brother of Peter Rusilko of Taunton and James Rusilko of Brockton. He had dozens of cousins and lifelong friends.

Funeral Service will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton on Wednesday, August 28 at 11:30 AM. Visiting Hours prior 9:30-11:30 AM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations in John's memory may be made to Boston Children's Hospital, 401 Park Dr., Suite 602, Boston, MA 02215.
