Joseph J. Krim, 91 died Saturday, June 4, 2022, at the Good Samaritan Medical Center in Brockton. Born in Boston, he was raised in Roxbury, attended Boston College High School and later graduated from Cathedral High School. In July of 1949, he joined the US Army, serving his country both at home and overseas, before being honorably discharged. In 1961, he married Marcia J. Forbes at the Holy Trinity National German Church and together they shared over 60 years of marriage and raised 4 beloved children. After raising their family in Brockton, Joe and Marcia moved to Carver, where they lived for 30 years before moving to Easton last year. Joe worked as a Machinist for Pneumatic Scale in Quincy for many years, retiring at age 62. Along with Marcia he was also the owner of All Around Lawn Mower in Brockton for many years. He was a member of the Wheels of Time Car Club and could often be found restoring his 1940 Buick Special. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his beloved family.

In addition to his wife, Joe is survived by his sons, James E. Krim and his wife Laura of Brockton, Edward J. Krim and his wife Christine of Lakeville and Thomas C. Krim and his wife Maria of Brockton. He is also survived by his daughter Theresa M. Sherrick of Weymouth. He was the brother of the late George Krim, Mary Veradt and Paul Krim. He was the grandfather of Ronnie Sherrick, Emily, Melissa, Robert, Douglas, Meaghan and Abigail Krim. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, June 22, 2022 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Easton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday, June 21, 2022 from 4-7 PM. Interment will take place at Massachusetts National Cemetery, Bourne on Thursday at 9:30 AM. Donations in Joe's memory may be made to the Brockton VNA or to the Compassionate Care Hospice of Taunton.
