Judith Ann Tracy, 73, a longtime resident of Quincy, died peacefully at Seasons Hospice Inpatient Center in Milton on Friday, March 20, 2020. Daughter of the late John W. and Marie D. "Rita" (Blette) Tracy, she was born in Brockton and raised in Stoughton. Judy was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1964. She then graduated from Bristol Community College and earned her Bachelor's Degree from Antioch College. She was a resident of Quincy for over 20 years. Judy worked from 1969-1971 at Holy Family Hospital in Quinhon, Vietnam as an Operating Room Technician and Nurse Manager. She felt it was a privilege to be a part of the Vietnam refugee community. When she returned home, she was a registered nurse at Boston Medical Center, working in the Operating Room for 44 years. She was involved with the Smedley Butler Brigade Veterans for Peace. She enjoyed reading a wide variety of topics, music and antique restoration.
Judy was the sister of John W. "Jack" Tracy, Jr. and his wife Ann of North Easton, Cynthia A. Johnson and her husband Donald of West Bridgewater, Dr. James F. Tracy and his wife Mary Ellen of Bethseda, MD and the late Philip R. Tracy and his surviving wife Mary Ann of Norton. She was the loving aunt to many nieces and nephews.
