Julia Isabelle (Kelly) Kuhn, 64, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at South Shore Hospital in Weymouth on Tuesday, February 24, 2026 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Robert J. Kuhn for 45 years. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late John J. and Mary Margaret (MacNeil) Kelly. Julia was raised in Jamaica Plain and Hyde Park and was a graduate of Hyde Park High School, Class of 1979. She resided in Stoughton since 1989. Julia was an office administrator for Dr. Dreiker in East Bridgewater for 12 years before retiring 10 years ago. She loved traveling the world but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her husband, Julia is survived by her children, Jillian J. Gagne and her husband Jonathan of West Bridgewater, Robert J. Kuhn Jr. and his wife Jennie and Jessica L. Kuhn all of Stoughton as well as her grandchildren, Brayden, Bryce and Brody Gagne and Colin and Conor Kuhn. She was the sister of James Kelly, Gail Faria and Daniel Kelly all of Stoughton, Stanley Kelly of Avon, Michael Kelly of West Roxbury, Margaret Mitchell of Las Cruces, NM and the late Joseph MacNeil, John, Patrick and Bridget Kelly, Flora Scanlan and Catherine Lee. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, March 5 from 4-7 PM. Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Friday, March 6 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations in Julia‘s memory may be made to the American Heart Association, PO Box 840692, Dallas, TX 75284-0692 or www.heart.org.
