Julio Cesar Pereira

Julio Cesar Pereira, 83, died Wednesday, September 1, 2021, at the Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston, after a period of failing health. Born in Brava, Cape Verde, he was raised and educated in Lisbon, Portugal. He earned his Bachelor's Degree and Master's Degree from the University of Lisbon. In 1984, he came to the United States and settled in Stoughton and later moved to Mashpee. He was a longtime Math Teacher at the Dearborn Middle School in Boston, retiring in 2002 and a member of the Boston Teacher's Union. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time at the ocean and spending time with his family.

Mr. Pereira was the brother of Joao Maria Pereira of Brockton, Maria Fatima Pereira of RI and the late Carlos F. Pereira. He is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday Morning, September 8, 2021, from 10AM-12PM followed by Graveside Services at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
