Karl D. Lounge

Karl D. Lounge, Sr. of Raynham, formerly of Brockton passed away peacefully on May 27, 2019, at the age of 77. He fought cancer for two years with humor, strength and courage.

He was the son of the late John Sr. & Jennie (Crawford) Lounge and is survived by his loving wife, Sandra Svedine; his son, Karl Lounge, Jr. & his wife Ashley of Crystal River, FL; his daughter Colleen Quarles & her partner Christopher Eason of Weeki Wachee, FL; three grandchildren, Kayla Lounge, Michael McDaniels and Stephen Quarles, all of FL; his brother John Lounge, Jr. of Brockton; sisters, Diane Distefano & her husband Ronald of Killingworth, CT and Gail Lounge of Avon. He was also the brother of the late Peter Lounge Sr. and survived by many nieces and nephews.

Karl was a self-employed home contractor and previously worked as a printer at the Brockton Enterprise for several years. He was a member of the Conte Memorial, Club National Vega and Enterprise Clubs in Brockton. Karl enjoyed going to Florida to visit his children and grandchildren; going to the casinos; socializing with his many friends at the clubs; and playing cribbage with his devoted friend, Patrick Gillis at the VFW in Avon.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27), Stoughton on Sunday from 2-4 PM. Interment will be private per Karl's wishes. Obituary and directions at www.farleyfh.com
