Katerina Maria-Leontina Nellos

Katerina Maria-Leontina Nellos, 4, died Friday, November 27 at the Children's Hospital in Boston after a lengthy illness. She was the daughter of Peter and Joann (Gomes) Nellos. Born in Norwood, Katerina resided in Stoughton with her family. She enjoyed Dora the Explorer, Princess Ariel from Little Mermaid and eating chicken fingers, fish and especially onion rings from her family's restaurant. She loved praying and adored angels. She especially loved going to the beach, playing in the sand, going to her godmother's house for lunch and going to Maine to drive her padrinho's speedboat.
In addition to her parents, Katerina is survived by her siblings, Steven and Aires Nellos, as well as her grandmothers, Katerina Nellos of Greece and Maria Gomes of Portugal. She is also survived by her godfather, Peter Panagopoulos, her godmother Maria Ines Couto and her padrinho, Joe Couto.
Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt.27) Stoughton on Wednesday, December 2 at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Service at Annunciation Greek Orthodox Church, Brockton at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Tuesday 5-8 PM. Burial will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton. In lieu of flowers donations in Katerina's name may be made to the Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Ave., Boston, MA 02115.
