Katherine Layton

Katherine Layton, 63, a longtime resident of Brockton, died peacefully at South Shore Rehabilitation and Skilled Care Center in Rockland on Monday, July 18, 2022. Daughter of the late Frederick S. and Charlotte (Spicer) Layton, she was born in Norwood and raised in Sharon. She resided in Brockton for 30 years.

Kathy was the sister of Joanne Adams of Durham, NH, Judith Mohan and Sherman Layton both of Norton, Marcia Capobianco of Dedham, Christopher Layton of The Villages, FL, Cynthia Layton of Sharon, Wendy Dugas of Mashpee and the late Nancy Murphy and Margaret Layton. She was the mother of Christina Otero and Kimberly Otero. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Thursday, July 21 from 9-10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Rock Ridge Cemetery, Sharon. Donations in Kathy's memory may be made to a charity of your choice.
