Kathleen M. (Caldwell) Gill

Kathleen M. (Caldwell) Gill, 76, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Monday, August 23, 2021 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of the late David R. Gill. Daughter of the late George and Agnes (Golden) Caldwell, she was born in Boston and raised in South Boston and Dorchester. Kathy was a graduate of Monsignor Ryan High School in Dorchester and Massasoit Community College in Brockton. She worked at Massachusetts Hospital School in Canton for several years. Kathy was active at the former Our Lady of the Rosary Church in Stoughton and later at St. James Church in Stoughton. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren.

Kathleen is survived by her children, Susan J. Casler and her husband Jeffrey of Weston, Matthew J. Gill of Stoughton and Kristen J. Gill of Winchester, as well as her grandchildren, Charlie, Katie and Molly. She was the sister of the late Kenneth and George Caldwell. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

A Visiting Hour will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Friday, August 27, 2021 from 9-10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, 560 Page Street, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
