Kathleen (Mooney) Mancinelli, 58, died Friday, April 10, 2020 at the Brockton Hospital in Brockton, after a period of declining health. She was the wife of the late Paul H. Mancinelli, who died February 26th of this year. Born in Stoughton, daughter of the late Edmund and Catherine (Duggan) Mooney, she was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Stoughton High School. She was also a graduate of Massasoit Community College Nursing Program. She worked as a Registered Nurse at the West Acres and Life Care of West Bridgewater Nursing Homes, and retired from the Morton Hospital in Taunton several years ago. She was a grateful member of Alanon, where she was known as "Little Kathy Big Coffee" to her many friends there. She was a dog lover and enjoyed taking care of her fur babies: Charlie, Princess, Bailey, Bella and Rosie. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and spending summers by the pool with family and friends.

Kathy was the mother of Patrick R. Leahy of Middleboro and Meghan C. Leahy of Washington DC. She was the grandmother of Dylan and Ava Leahy and Matthew Sinclair. She is also survived by her siblings; Karen E. (Mooney) Mullaney, Kenneth J. Mooney and Kyle P. Mooney and his wife Corleene, all of FL, Kevin E. Mooney and his wife Jane of Stoughton and Kirk Mooney and his wife Diane of GA. Kathy was the sister in law of Robert J. Mancinelli and his wife Maureen of Raynham, Catherine I. O'Brien and her husband Timothy of Bridgewater and the late Joseph Mancinelli. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Due to the Coronavirus Pandemic, Private family services were held with a Celebration of Life to be held in the future. Memorial Donations in her name may be made to the Joslin Diabetes Center, 1 Joslin Pl., Boston, MA 02215.
