Kathleen "Kathi" Edna Small (formally Phillips), 61, died Monday, April 4, 2022 at the St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Brighton after a long period of declining health. Born and raised in Stoughton, she was a graduate of Stoughton High School. Kathi was a lifelong resident of Stoughton. She was a dedicated mother and homemaker who, after raising her family, worked at the Brockton Credit Union in Brockton, and for several years at Pages Market, and the Podhale Deli both located in Stoughton. In her free time, she enjoyed observing and caring for animals, painting, all sorts of puzzles, spending time with her sisters, her children, and her grandchildren.
Kathi is survived by her children, MSG Stephen M. Bishop, U.S. Army and his wife Kimberly of NM, Lauren T. Radley and her husband Shawn of AZ, and Robert W. Small and his partner Jessica Anderson of Abington. She was the grandmother of Evan Bishop, Aiden O'Brien, Wesley Bishop, Riley Bishop, Hannah Bishop, Charlotte Bishop, Kacie Small, and Raylan Radley. She was the sister of Barbara Bump of Brockton, Margaret "Peggy" Loycano of Bridgewater, Mary Ellen Gonsalves of Stoughton, and the late Frank Phillips and Susan Raulstone. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, April 12 from 10AM-1PM followed by Funeral Prayers at 1PM. Private burial will be held at Dry Pond Cemetery in Stoughton. Donations in Kathi's memory may be made to the Green Beret Foundation (greenberetfoundation.org).
