Kenneth Warren Hickman Jr., 51, a resident of Norfolk, passed away at home on Monday, March 30, 2026. He was the loving husband of Taiese Crystal (Bingham) Hickman, with whom he shared 17 years of love and 13 years of marriage. He was the beloved son of Kenneth W. and Gwendolyn (Thomas) Hickman of Randolph, and was born in Boston.
Kenny was raised in Roxbury and Randolph and graduated from Randolph High School, Class of 1992, where he was a Boston Globe All-Scholastic in both basketball and track. He continued his education at UMass Amherst, graduating with his Bachelor’s Degree in 1996. Kenny worked for Lotus Notes, which later became IBM in Cambridge, for 29 years. In 2017, he and his wife Taiese moved to Norfolk to continue building their family.
Kenny had been battling cancer for several months, yet remained the same loving, devoted father to his sons, one of whom has Down Syndrome. He had a love of basketball, track, and golf, but his greatest joy was spending time with his family and friends.
Kenny was the love of his wife’s life, a constant source of peace and strength, especially in her darkest moments. He was an amazing son, a devoted father, and a loyal friend. Simply put, he was a good human, the very best. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of loving him. Most especially, he will be forever cherished by his two sons and dog Bailey, whom he loved more than anything in this world.
In addition to his wife and parents, Kenny is survived by his beloved sons, London J. Hickman and Lincoln J. Hickman, both of Norfolk. He was the son-in-law of Bryan Bingham and his wife Luisa of Lynn, and the late Crystal Fowler. He is survived by his brother in-law Bryan Bingham Jr. and wife Veronica Bingham, sister in-law Tiara Bingham, nephews Xavier Bingham and Tyson Bingham and niece Gyana Bingham of Lynn. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and dear friends.
Visiting Hours will be held at Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27), Stoughton, on Wednesday, April 8 from 4–7 PM. A Funeral Service will be held at Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 24 Pleasant St., Brockton, on Thursday, April 9 at 10 AM, with an hour of visitation prior beginning at 9 AM. Interment will take place at Pine Grove Cemetery, Lynn.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Kenneth’s memory may be made to his children’s scholarship funds:
