Kenneth D. Randall, Sr. passed away on Sunday, October 3, 2021 at the South Shore Hospital in Weymouth, after a long, courageous battle with Lupus and Renal Failure. Born in Boston, he was raised by the late Realious and Phyllis Randall on Bicknell St. in Dorchester. Kenneth was a graduate of Boston Technical High School, Class of 1978. He also attended Berklee School of Music and Northeastern University. On January 12, 1980, he married Tanese L. Mitchell at the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Dorchester, Mass. Although married at a young age, their reliance and faith in Jehovah helped them maintain a strong marriage. They were blessed to enjoy almost 42 years of marriage and raised three beautiful children. Those children then blessed them with 10 grandchildren who were the light in his life. He glowed in their company.
He has been a resident of Randolph for over 32 years. Ken worked as an Auto Body Appraiser for many years and was the co-owner of Apple Auto Body. In recent years he was privileged to work alongside Salvatore Leone of Pleasant Auto Body in Randolph. At an early age his mother instilled in him a love for Jehovah, and on January 18, 1975 he symbolized his dedication to Jehovah by water baptism. He remained a faithful servant for 45 years and was privileged to serve as an elder in the Shawmut, Randolph, and Holbrook Congregations. He loved to travel, and had a passion for music. He was a gifted musician and could play several instruments, including the Trombone, Bass Guitar, Drums and the Piano. Credit goes to his dad for his love of cars. He loved motorcycles and muscle cars, especially the '69 Chevelle. Everyone who knew Kenny was aware about how much he loved his wife and his family, but his first and foremost love was to Jehovah.
In addition to his wife Tanese, Ken is survived by his children; Kandice D. Allen of Randolph, son-in-law Joel C. Allen of Johns Creek, Georgia, Kenneth D. Randall, Jr. and his wife Laura of Bridgewater, and Kameron D. Randall and his wife Linh of Randolph. Randall, III.
