Kevin Turner Cromwell, 65, of Stoughton, passed away peacefully at home on Monday, July 14, 2025, surrounded by his loving family. He was the devoted husband of Patricia Batte-Cromwell for 36 years. Born in Germantown, PA, and raised in Webster, NY, Kevin was a graduate of the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park. His career as a chef spanned many renowned restaurants, including Le Champignon Café and the Escoffier Room at the CIA. He also worked at the Moqui Lodge and Bright Angel Lodge at the Grand Canyon, where he met and married Patricia. After time at the Beekman Arms in Rhinebeck, NY, Kevin settled in Stoughton 32 years ago. He worked at the Pillar House and Charles River Country Club in Newton before founding Cromwell Consulting, Inc. 26 years ago. Kevin loved traveling and Formula 1 racing, but his greatest passions were cooking and his family.
He is survived by his wife Patricia, sons William (and wife Allyson) of Easton and Benjamin (and fiancée Claire Daughters) of Medford, and granddaughter Parker Marie Cromwell. He was the son of the late Nancy (McAvoy) Brown and brother to Karen Neimyer of Michigan, Christopher Cromwell of Ohio, and Kimberly Cromwell of New York. He is also survived by his goddaughter Nicole Zielinski and many nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, July 18 from 4-7 PM.
