Kevin J. McCormick, 69, a lifelong resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Season Hospice and Palliative Care Inpatient Center in Milton on Tuesday, August 4, 2020. Son of the late James and Margaret (Lee) McCormick, he was born in Brockton and graduated from Stoughton High School. Kevin was a Lance Corporal in the U.S. Marine Corps and a veteran of the Vietnam War. Upon his return, he earned his Bachelor's Degree at Bridgewater State College. Kevin was a school teacher at Stoughton High School for 35 years before retiring several years ago. He was a member of the Massachusetts Teacher's Association and coached the Stoughton American Legion baseball team for many years.
Kevin is survived by his twin sons, James R. McCormick and his wife Andrea of Plainville and Michael A. McCormick and his wife Jessica of Attleboro, as well as his granddaughter, Robyn McCormick. He was the dear brother of the late Robert McCormick and James "Jamie" McCormick. He is also survived by his longtime partner, Jill Howard and several nieces and nephews.
