Kuang-Mei Katherine Liu

Kuang-Mei (Katherine) Liu, age 71, passed away on July 13, 2022 at the Guardian Center in Brockton. Born in Taiwan, she moved to the States in 1978 and settled in Brockton. She attended music school in Vienna, Austria and worked at Ainsley Corporation in Randolph. A life-long advocate for special needs rights, she worked with MA representatives to broaden state policies. As a classically trained Pianist and Composer, she enjoyed playing the piano for leisure and performing at the church.

Kuang-Mei is survived by her children Annie Mei-Hwa Liu from New York and David Yan-Hwa Liu of Brockton. She is also survived by her brother Kaung-Ti Yung of Pennsylvania.

A Graveside Service will be held on at Knollwood Memorial Park in Canton, on Wednesday, July 20th at 11:30am.
