Lawrence A. “Larry” Barron, 57, died at the Beverly Hospital in Beverley on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. Larry made the decision to selflessly donate his liver and other organs. Born in Norwood, son of Susan M. (Giusti) Barron and the late Lawrence F. Barron III, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a 1987 graduate of Xaverian Brothers High School in Westwood. Larry continued his education and earned a bachelor’s degree and became a Nationally Certified Sleep Technician. Larry lived in Wentworth, NH for several years before moving to Merrimac, MA several months ago. He was a dedicated employee of the Speare Memorial Hospital in Plymouth, NH where he was a longtime Clinical Care Coordinator and Sleep Technician. Larry enjoyed his job and was known for his work ethic and his friendly daily interactions with his patients and colleagues. He was a proud American and ardent Donald Trump supporter, who believed in the American Freedoms and enjoyed spirited conversations about local and national politics. Larry always believed in leaving people with a smile. He enjoyed golf and dining out and was always happiest surrounded by his extended family and his friends.
Larry is survived by his mother, Susan M. (Giusti) Barron of Merrimac, formerly of Stoughton, and his siblings, Peter E. Barron and Tara A. Ellis and her husband Thomas, all of Merrimac. He was predeceased by his father Lawrence F. Barron and is also survived by his two beloved nieces, Kathleen G. and Danielle L. Ellis.
