Leonard D. Moore, 76, passed away on Wednesday, April 13, 2022, at the VA Hospital in West Roxbury, Ma. Born to the late Sargent and Madeline Moore in West Newton, Ma. Raised in Newton Corner, he went on to graduate from Newton North High School and studied at the Mass College Arts. Mr. Moore was a proud Veteran of the US Navy Seabees. A longtime resident of both Framingham, and Cambridge, Ma for many years, and lived in Arizona for nearly 20 years. He enjoyed a variety of hobbies such as, drawing, sitting by the lake fishing, golfing, and playing pool. In addition to his hobbies he was also an avid football fan "Go Patriots". He also held memberships at the VFW Post in Carver, Ma and the Eagle's Club in Lake Havasu, AZ. In his free time, he enjoyed making memories with his family and friends. His most favorite pastime was playing the lottery and getting his scratch tickets. In the early 80's Leonard left his mark on Arizona when he named a bar "Somewhere Arizona" in the small town of Bouse, which is still proudly serving customers today.

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, April 22 from 9AM-11AM followed by Funeral at 11AM. Burial with Military Honors will be held at the Massachusetts National Cemetery in Bourne at 1:30 PM.
