Lillian C. (Jason) Carbone, 90, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at home on Friday, July 31, 2026 with her loving daughter by her side. She was the loving wife of the late Pasquale C. “Pat” Carbone, whom she shared 66 years of marriage before his passing in 2019. Daughter of the late August J. and Henrietta (McCarthy) Jason, she was born and raised in Revere and graduated from Revere High School. After marrying and moving to East Boston, she was a switchboard operator and secretary for the Federal Aviation Administration, Boston Logan Airport.
Lillian was a resident of Stoughton for over 60 years, where she volunteered, taught CCD and was a school crossing guard while raising her family. Later in life, she went back to school and was a medical secretary and Certified Nursing Assistant for many years at New England Sinai Hospital in Stoughton before retiring in August of 2009. An avid Patriots fan, she also loved reading, crossword puzzles, board games, cooking and baking. Her greatest joy was spending time with her family and friends.
Lillian was the beloved mother of Patrice A. Giammarco and her husband Adam of Stoughton and the late Michael William Carbone and Kristine Marie Carbone. She was the sister of the late Jeannette Lespasio, August R. Jason, Rose Marie Heath and Loretta Patnaude. She is also survived by several nieces.
Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, August 5 from 4-7 PM. Funeral will be held from the funeral home on Thursday, August 6 at 9:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. James Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Interment will follow at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Lillian‘s memory may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association, 320 Nevada Street, Suite 201, Newton, MA 02460 or www.alz.org/manh.
