Linda A. (Voss) O'Brien

Linda A. (Voss) O’Brien, 61, a longtime resident of Raynham, died peacefully at home on Monday, May 6, 2024 surrounded by her loving family. She was the wife of Michael O’Brien for 34 years. Daughter of the  Gerd Voss of Halifax and Irma I. (Bartasiunas) Voss of Stoughton,she was born in Boston and raised in Stoughton. She was a graduate of Stoughton High School, Class of 1982 and Aquinas Junior College. She resided in Raynham for the past 23 years.  Linda was an accounts payable manager at Computer Share in Canton, where she worked since 1998. She enjoyed camping at Barrington Shores in New Hampshire. She also loved holidays and enjoyed playing cards, reading and photo albums but her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her granddaughter Ophelia.

In addition to her husband, Linda is survived by her daughter, Courtney L. O’Brien and her fiancé Adam Chickering of Acushnet as well as her granddaughter, Ophelia S. Chickering.  She was the sister of Susan Hadley of Raynham, Monika DiMella of Connecticut, Andrea Voss of Stoughton and Erika Voss of Halifax. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.  

Visiting Hours will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, May 14 from 4-7 PM with Funeral Prayers at 7 PM.
