Linda Louise Reardon

Linda Louise Reardon, age 69, passed away December 8th, 2022 at Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, after a courageous battle with cancer. Linda was born to the late Claire (Thompson) and John Reardon in Chelsea, on April 26, 1953 and was raised in Stoughton becoming a longtime resident. She graduated from Stoughton High School, Class of 1971, and went on to continue her education at Massasoit Community College. Linda worked for many years as an analyst at Blue Cross Blue Shield before her retirement. Linda’s caring nature will be forever remembered as one of her most outstanding traits. She was a true nurturer—the type of person who always put others before herself, no matter what she was going through. She would give anything to those in need, go above and beyond to make others comfortable, and loved to bring happiness and joy to those around her. Linda’s proudest accomplishment was being the best “Nanny” to her two grandchildren. Her fondest memories included spending summers camping in Plymouth, hosting joyful Christmas Eve gatherings, and spoiling her grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. She enjoyed reading, following true crime and current events, watching soap operas, and indulging in her favorite treats (which ranged from hot dogs to lobster and iced coffee to champagne).

Linda is survived by her beloved grandchildren Myranda Marotta and Joshua Marotta Jr. as well as her life partner of over 40 years, Robert Goode. Additionally, she is survived by her siblings Christopher Reardon and his wife Anne, John Reardon, and his wife Susan, Donna Reardon, Deborah Reardon, Nancy Hammel, and sister-in-law Cheryl Penney and was predeceased by her brother Jeremiah Reardon. Linda is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

A Funeral Mass will be held at Immaculate Conception Church 122 Canton St., Stoughton on Saturday, December 17th at 10AM, followed by cremation. In lieu of flowers, donations in Linda’s memory may be made to the Jimmy Fund, 10 Brookline Pl, Brookline, MA 02445, or you may donate to the GoFundMe setup by the family at Fundraiser by Melissa Reardon : Linda Reardon’s cremation expense (gofundme.com)
