Lisa A. Porro

It is with profound sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Lisa A. Porro, age 59, of Dedham, Massachusetts, at her home. Born in Boston, Lisa was the cherished daughter of the late Richard A. and Elaine D. (Paul) Porro. Lisa was a lifelong resident of Dedham and a 1984 graduate of Dedham High School. She also earned her Associates Degree from Aquinas Jr. College in Milton.

Lisa’s family was the cornerstone of her life. She is survived by her three brothers: Richard, Scott, and John and his wife, Shannon; and her sister, Susan M. Porro. Her love for her family was boundless, and she found great joy in their company.

Professionally, Lisa dedicated herself to the American Red Cross, where she worked in the Platelet Division, contributing to the organization’s mission of saving lives. Her compassion extended beyond her work, as she also lent her talents to local jewelry stores, sharing her passion for fashion and design with the community.

Known for her kind heart and caring nature, Lisa had a unique ability to make others feel special. Her genuine compliments and infectious laughter brightened the lives of those around her. She had a particular fondness for the beach and animals, especially dogs, and found comfort and companionship in their presence.

Lisa’s memory will live on in the hearts of her family and her many friends. Her legacy of kindness, humor, and love will continue to inspire all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Family and Friends are invited to honor Lisa’s life and legacy at Visiting Hours at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton, on Wednesday Morning from 10AM to 12 Noon with Funeral Prayers to follow at 12 Noon. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Lisa’s memory be made to the American Red Cross, 180 Rustcraft Rd., Dedham, MA 02026.
