Lisa Marie (Tonucci) Sweet

Lisa Marie (Tonucci) Sweet, age 58, of North Easton, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, December 14, 2022 after a courageous and valiant battle with cancer.  Born and raised in Brockton, a graduate of Brockton High School, Lisa would light up any room with her smile and infectious laugh.  She was an incredibly kind and generous person, and true and caring friend to many.  The strength she displayed throughout her life was an inspiration for all to witness.  Lisa loved the beach, and vacations to Marco Island, FL and Nantucket, decorating her home, and her dog, Chloe.  She had retired from the Brockton Area Private Industry Council.

Lisa was the loving wife to her husband Michael Sweet for 22 years, predeceased by her father Bob, beloved daughter of Esther Tonucci of Brockton, sister to Robert Tonucci and his wife Chomi of Brockton, Guy Tonucci and his wife Peg of Berkley and Annette Sarantopoulos and her husband Peter of Bridgewater.  She was the cherished Auntie Lisa to 11 nieces and nephews and adored daughter-in-Law to Roger and Mary Lou Sweet.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, December 19 at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at St. Michael Church, Avon at 10:30 AM.  Visiting Hours Sunday from 4-7 PM.  Interment will take place at St. Michael Cemetery, Avon.  Donations in Lisa’s name can be made to the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center Gift Processing, Office of Philanthropy, 330 Brookline Avenue (OV), Boston, MA 02215.
