Lois P. (Mara) Tankerley

Lois P. Tankerley, age 86, passed away on February 12, 2021. Born and raised in Stoughton to the late Donald and Doris (Davis) Mara. She was married to the late Randolph Dennis Tankerley for many loving years. She was the longtime companion to the late Bob Mehn from Wisconsin for 20 years. She was a graduate of Stonehill College earning her Associate's degree. Lois was a Tax Auditor for the State of Massachusetts. She enjoyed playing "Bridge" and was involved in leagues and tournaments with her friends. She had a house in Maine and would stay there in the summer, and would stay in her Florida house in the winters as a true "snowbird". Lois was an avid traveler and has been to many places including New Zealand, Australia, Russia and Germany just to name a few.

She is survived by her children Jeff Tankerley and his wife Debbie of Foxboro and Randy Tankerley and his wife Michelle of Stoughton. She was the loving grandmother to Scott, Danny, Jason, Eric and Andrew Tankerley. She was the caring sister to Margie Mulcahy of Stoughton. In lieu of flowers donations in Lois's memory may be made to the American Cancer Society 125 South Huntington Ave, Boston, MA 02130.
