Son of the late Louis J. and Eileen G. (Foster) LaCivita, he was born in Brockton and raised in Stoughton. He resided in various locations over the years before settling in Dorchester many years ago. Louis enjoyed spending time with his brothers and family. He was an avid Red Sox fan and attended many games at Fenway Park. He was very comfortable with a microphone in his hand to sing his favorite songs while attending social functions and was a member of the Sing-A-Long Singers in Lexington as well as Work, Inc. in Dorchester.

Louis is survived by his brothers, Wilfred J. “Bill” LaCivita and his wife Kathleen of Raynham, Carl F. LaCivita of Easton and Paul F. LaCivita and his wife Linda of Fall River as well as his nieces and nephews, Jeanette LaCivita, Jacob LaCivita and his wife Jessica, Eileen A. Orr and husband Michael, Carolyn LaCivita-Berghuys and her wife Ashlee Berghuys, Jeremy LaCivita and his wife Jeanna, Seth LaCivita and his wife Elizabeth, Alexis LaCivita and Hannah LaCivita. He is also survived by his great-nephews, William LaCivita and Jesse LaCivita. Louis is also survived by many cousins and had a special place in his heart for his deceased sister-in-law, Jeane F. LaCivita.
