Luis Gomes Fraga, age 79, passed away peacefully after an extended illness on June 1, 2022. Born on the island of Flores, Portugal, he was the son to the late Maria and Jose Fraga. He served as a member of the Portuguese Military, was married to the late Maria Judite Fraga, and had two sons before moving to the U.S. over 50 years ago. He was a long-time resident of Stoughton and along with his brothers, a local business owner of Fraga's Market, before retiring and moving to Cape Cod. Luis was a member and former president of S. Joao Filarmonica association of Stoughton, where he loved supporting the band and socializing with his many friends. As a business owner, he dedicated his life to his many customers of Fraga's Market in Stoughton. He loved the Cape, enjoyed the seaside, going quahogging, watching Benfica play and tending to his vegetable garden. He always enjoyed his glass of red wine with his dinner, but he especially loved spending time with his family and friends. His favorite saying was "take it easy", and he will be truly missed by all who knew and loved him.

He is also survived by his wife Alice Fraga of Taunton and his brothers Gabriel Fraga of Stoughton and Jose Fraga of Flores, Azores, Portugal and the late Eugenio Fraga, Tobias Fraga, Eugenia Cardoso and Ofelia Roque.
