Margaret A. (Spring) Colerico

Margaret A. (Spring) Colerico, 90, died Saturday, March 4, 2023 at the Evergreen House Health Center in East Providence, RI, after a period of declining health.  She was the wife of the late Peter Colerico and William T. Edge.  Born in Everett, she was raised and educated in Medford Schools.  She was a longtime resident of Revere.  She worked as a Claims Adjuster for Blue Cross Blue Shield Health Insurance for many years, retiring over 25 years ago.  Margaret loved to dance and enjoyed playing cards, KENO and enjoyed spending time at the beach.  Above all, she loved spending time with her family.

Margaret was the mother of Martha Duncan of TN, William G. “Sharky” Edge of NH, Deanna Agostini of Rehoboth, Judith Gault of FL and the late Sr. Annamarie Edge, CSJ.  She was the sister of Ruth Flynn of Springfield, Paul Spring of Medford and the late Marjorie Sarafeen.  She was the grandmother of 7, the great grandmother of 7 and was predeceased by her grandson Richard Franey. 

A Visiting Hour will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Monday, March 13, 2023 from 9:30-10:30 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at the Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 11 AM. Interment will take place at Knollwood Memorial Park, Canton.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Margaret’s memory may be made to the Sisters of St. Joseph, 637 Cambridge St., Brighton, MA 02135.
