Margaret M. (Niland) Henkin, 86, died Tuesday, May 5, 2026 at the Boston Medical Center South in Brockton. Born and raised in Lynn, she was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School in Lynn. In 1963, she married William R. “Bob” Henkin, and together they have enjoyed over 62 years of marriage. She has been a resident of Stoughton for over 57 years. Margaret worked as a bookkeeper for her husband’s company, WR Henkin, Inc. for many years, retiring several years ago. Margaret and Bob loved to dine out and play Keno at area restaurants and enjoyed vacationing and spending time at Balch Lake in W. Newfield, Maine and in Dennisport. She enjoyed bowling and crossword puzzles, but her greatest joys and happiest memories were spent with her family.
In addition to her husband William R. “Bob” Henkin of Stoughton, she is survived by her daughter Lori A. Boudreau and her husband Stephen of E. Taunton. She was the grandmother of Megan Boudreau and Kaitlin Boudreau-Read and her husband Nathan Read. She was the sister of the late Virginia Keith, Katherine Petkewich, James Niland and Edward Niland. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Sunday, May 17, 2026 from 1-3 PM with Funeral Prayers to follow at 3PM. Donations in Margaret’s name may be made to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 44 Binney St., Boston, MA 02215.
