Margaret M. (Buckley) Milne

Margaret "Peggy" M. (Buckley) Milne, age 89, of Stoughton, MA, died peacefully at home surrounded by her family. She is survived by her loving husband of 61 years George Milne. Peggy was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend to everyone. She was one of the sweetest, kindest people who put her family above everything else and they meant the world to her. Anyone who met her just loved her instantly. Her smile was captivating.

Daughter of the late Timothy and Helen (Warren) Buckley, Peggy was born in Charlestown and raised in County Cork, Ireland from the age of 2 and returned to Boston at the age of 21. She worked at Sylvania and Raytheon and then turned to raising her 4 children and working numerous other jobs.

Peggy loved her retirement on Cape Cod and spending about 25 years there enjoying all the Cape has to offer until her and her husband decided to move to Stoughton to be closer to their children and grandchildren. She loved family time, listening and dancing to Irish/Scottish music with her husband and spending time with her girlfriends of many years.

She was the loving and cherished mother of Margaret Milne of Stoughton, George and Jill Milne of Attleboro, Christine Bagley and her husband Douglas of Stoughton, and Helen Smith and her husband Michael of Easton. She was the loving grandmother of Kayla and her husband Sean, Shannon, Riley, Tyler, Jessica, Christopher and Casey and her future great-grandson Carter. She was also the loving grandmother of her beloved granddogs Bella and Lacey.

Peggy will be so missed by her loving family who adored her and her sweetness and kindness that will never be replaced.
