Margaret Claire Petersen-Hines, 89, a longtime resident of Clinton, died peacefully at Boston Medical Center South in Brockton on Wednesday, August 5, 2026. She was the wife of the late Richard E. Hines. Daughter of the late William Olaf Petersen and Margaret Winifred (Myers) Funk, she was born and raised in Brockton. She resided in Stoughton for over 40 years before moving to Clinton 20 years ago. Margaret was a homemaker. She enjoyed attending functions at the Leominster Senior Center.

Margaret is survived by her children, Marjorie Blye of Georgia, Donna Wolcott of Wareham and Robert Abril and his wife Joann of Taunton. She is also survived by several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
