Maria Rita Medeiros

Maria Rita Medeiros, 59, a resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Boston Medical Center on Saturday, September 23, 2023.  Daughter of the late Mauricio M. and Helena G. (Freitas) Medeiros, she was born in Flores, Azores, Portugal and raised in Stoughton until returning to Flores for 30 years.  She returned to Stoughton 8 years ago.  Rita worked for F.C. Phillips in Stoughton for 3 years before working at the Dollar Tree in Stoughton for 3 years.

Rita is survived by her brothers, Jose M. Medeiros and Alberto F. Medeiros both of Stoughton.  She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Friday, September 29 at 9 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10 AM. Visiting Hours Thursday from 4-7 PM.  Interment will take place at Evergreen Cemetery, Stoughton.
