Marie M. (Cripps) Bohnenberger

Marie M. (Cripps) Bohnenberger, 81, died unexpectedly on Wednesday, April 1, 2020. She was the beloved wife of the late Capt. Frederick G. Bohnenberger, Mass. State Police (Ret.). Born in Randolph, she was raised and educated in Stoughton, and was a graduate of Stoughton High School. At age 18, she married her high school sweetheart and love of her life, Fred Bohnenberger, and they moved to Mashpee. They welcomed six children over the next eight years and thoroughly enjoyed the life they made together. She was a dedicated homemaker and mother, who always welcomed family and friends to her home. In addition, Marie assisted in the operation of Fred's business, Cape Concrete Forms, a business that continues today with her son Kris. Marie enjoyed playing bingo, Keno and scratch tickets but her greatest joy in life was spending time with her beloved family.

Mrs. Bohnenberger was the loving "Mommy" of Joseph F. Bohnenberger, Mass State Police (Ret.) and his wife Lisa, Kris J. Bohnenberger, Mass State Police (Ret,) and his wife Jennifer and Daniel J. Bohnenberger, Mashpee FD (Ret.) and his wife Kim, all of Mashpee, Frederick G. "Fritzy" Bohnenberger and his wife Ursula and Theresa M. Gomez and her husband Wilfer all of Falmouth and the late Mary Bohenberger. She was the cherished grandmother of Frederick and Benjamin Bohnenberger, Dr. Helen Price and her husband Shaun Price, Barnstable County Sheriff Office, Anna, William and Kelly Bohnenberger, Julia Ferreira, Karl Bohnenberger, (USMC Recruit), Hunter and Charlotte Bohnenberger. She was the great grandmother of "Skip" Price and the sister of the late Albert and Roy Cripps.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, private family services were held with burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Stoughton.
