Marie (Diecidue) Rideout

Marie (Diecidue) Rideout, age 80, passed away at the Nemasket Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center on June 19, 2026. Born, raised, and educated in Dorchester, she was the daughter of the late Lucy and Rosario Diecidue. Marie worked for seven years as a clerk at Ashmont Discount in Stoughton before continuing her career at Sweets Candy Shop in Brockton, where she proudly served as manager for seven years. Beyond working various jobs, Marie was most dedicated to her role as a homemaker, tending to her family as a devoted mother and raising her children in both Stoughton and Brockton. She enjoyed puzzles, word searches and painting.

Marie is survived by her children Eugene Keller of Lakeville, Robert Keller and his wife Kristin of Lakeville, Michael Keller of New Bedford and Maria Hardiman of Fall River. She leaves behind several grandkids, great-grandkids, nieces and nephews, and was the sister to Charles Diecidue, and the late Angela Roberto, Catherine Disessa, Josephine Donnarumma, Tony, John, Roy, Leo and Joseph Diecidue.

Visitation will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton, on Friday June 26th from 9-11 AM, with Funeral Prayers at 11 AM. Interment will follow at Dry Pond Cemetery in Stoughton.
