Mark A. Pires, 64, died unexpectedly, Thursday, March 14, 2024. He was the husband of Nancy E. (Gallagher) Pires of Easton. Born in Brockton, son of the late Henry and Josephine (Daneault) Pires, he was raised and educated in Stoughton and was a graduate of Southeastern Regional Technical High School in Easton, Class of 1977. Mark was a resident of Easton for over 30 years. He was a man of many talents and interests, both personally and professionally. Professionally, he was an entrepreneur, property manager, landlord, handyman, day care provider and inventor. He was a former owner of Pearl Cleaners in Stoughton, the owner of the Ultimate Advantage Group in Stoughton and loved to help his wife Nancy with their in-home daycare. Personally, he enjoyed camping, riding his Harley, music, concerts and spending summers with his friends at Bourne Scenic Park in Bourne. In his free time, he enjoyed spending time with his wife, family, friends and his dogs.

In addition to his wife Nancy, he is survived by his daughters, Nichole A. DaRosa and her husband Joseph of NV and Ashley E. Francios of Stoughton. He was the brother of Henry Pires and his wife Deborah of Rehoboth and Karen F. Aiello and her husband Ronald of Braintree. He was the grandfather of Triston, Maddox and Brooklynn Francois, Kendall, Haley, Keira, Harley-Quinn, Logan and Leia DaRosa. He was the son in law of the late Thomas and Elizabeth Gallagher and the brother in law of Cathy Capellupo and her husband Fred, Patricia Runey and her husband Frank, Thomas M. Gallagher and his wife Mona and Michael J. Gallagher. He is also survived by his beloved dogs, Kipper, Mulligan and Bailey

Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rte. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, March 19, 2024, from 4-7 PM. Funeral will be held from the Funeral Home on Wednesday at 9:15 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Burial will follow at Dry Pond Cemetery, Stoughton. Donations in Mark’s memory may be made to the Northeast Animal Shelter, 347 Highland Ave, Salem, MA 01970.
