Mark J. Reis, 39, a lifelong resident of Brockton, died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 1, 2020. He was the son of Jose E. and Maria Fatima (Medeiros) Reis of Brockton. He was born in Stoughton and graduated from Southeastern Regional Vocational Technical High School, Class of 1999. He worked for his father's company, JR's Commercial Cleaners in Brockton for 20 years. Mark enjoyed cooking, fishing and watching football but his greatest joy was spending time with his family, especially his children.
In addition to his parents, Mark is survived by his children, Collin D. Sherburne and Owen J. Reis both of Wareham, Baylee R. Reis of Brockton and Logan M. Reis of Roxbury. He was the brother of Bobby Reis and his wife Michelle of Taunton and uncle of Tyler and Kaileigh Reis. He is also survived by his fiancé, Kelley McColgan of Roxbury and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visiting Hours will be held in the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St., (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Wednesday, October 7 from 4-7 PM. Masks and social distancing required. Due to the coronavirus pandemic, Funeral Mass will be private. Interment will take place at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
