Mary J. (Schwinn) Carroll

Mary J. (Schwinn) Carroll, 94, a longtime resident of Stoughton, died peacefully at Copley at Stoughton on Tuesday, April 28, 2020. She was the wife of the late Joseph P. Carroll. Daughter of the late Louis J. and Mary E. (Grady) Schwinn, she was born and raised in Quincy. She was a graduate of St. Mary's School in Quincy and Quincy High School. Mary was a resident of Stoughton for 54 years. She was a homemaker. Mary enjoyed martini luncheons at Christo's in Brockton.

Mary was the mother of Francis X. Carroll and his wife Adrienne of Largo, FL, Michael J. Carroll of Greensboro, NC, Dennis I. Carroll of Sandwich, Joseph P. Carroll and his wife Pamela of Henderson, NV, Mary E. MacDonald and her husband Joseph of Stoughton and the late Patrick J. Carroll. She was the sister of the late Anne Doran. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Due to the coronavirus pandemic, private family services will be held with a burial at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Stoughton.
