Mary J. (Cavanaugh) Frisoli

Mary J. (Cavanaugh) Frisoli, 81, died Tuesday, May 4, 2021, at the Signature Healthcare Brockton Hospital, after a period of failing health. Born and raised in Medford, she was a graduate of Medford High School, Class of 1957. In 1962, she married Michael G. Frisoli, and together they enjoyed 59 years of marriage and raised four beloved children. She was a resident of Stoughton for the past 50 years. She was a dedicated wife and mother and, after her children were of school age, she started working in the corporate offices of Baybank, and later Bank of America, in Stoughton. She retired several years ago. Mary was a former member of the Stoughton Bowling League. In her free time, she enjoyed knitting, sewing, reading, doing the daily cryptogram and gardening. Her favorite times were spent in the company of her beloved family.

In addition to her husband Michael, she is survived by her children: Michael J. Frisoli and his wife Andrea of Bridgewater, Theresa M. Motta and her husband John E. Motta, Jr. of RI, Paul A. Frisoli and his longtime partner Beth Krajewski of Dracut and Douglas E. Frisoli and his wife Lisa of North Attleboro. She was the beloved grandmother of Abigail and Matthew Frisoli, John E. Motta, III, David Motta, Stephen Motta, Chase and Lincoln Frisoli. She was the sister of the late Richard and John Cavanaugh and Barbara Ellsworth. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Funeral will be held from the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park St. (Rt. 27) Stoughton on Tuesday, May 11. 2021, at 10 AM followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church, 122 Canton St., Stoughton, at 11 AM. Visiting Hours Monday from 4-7 PM. Donations in Mary's name may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, 309 Waverly Oaks Rd., Waltham, MA 02452.
