Mary C. (Kelly) McKenna

Mary C. (Kelly) McKenna, age 92, passed away peacefully on March 18, 2026, at Brockton Hospital. She was preceded in death by her husband Francis McKenna who passed away in 1995. Born in Boston, she was the daughter of the late Robert and Mary (Crowley) Kelly. She received an associate’s degree from secretarial school and went on to work at Johnson & Johnson as an Administrative Clerk for surgical instruments for over 15 years before retiring. Her and her husband bought a home in Gilmanton, New Hampshire and moved from their home in Brockton where they were long-time residents. They enjoyed their time in New Hampshire making many memories there in her later years. She was a member of both the Red Hats out of New Hampshire and TOPS Club of Bridgewater and enjoyed playing shuffleboard and bocce and was in a bowling league for many years. She was an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, but above all enjoyed spending time with family. She will be greatly missed.

Mary is survived by her children Francis McKenna, III and his wife Carolyn of Easton, Eileen Stiles and her husband Edward of Bridgewater, Brian McKenna and his wife Bonnie of Hebron, CT, and was predeceased by her daughter Jo-Ann McKenna. She was the Gram and Grammie to Amanda Grazioso, Melissa Peffer, Frank McKenna IV, Jenna Pellerin, Jason Caffelle, Emilee Murtagh, Elizabeth Guzman, Edward Stiles, Jr., Eli Stiles, Meghan (Koutouzis) McKenna, and Brian McKenna, Jr., and was the “GG” to Addison, Damian, Peter, Elizabeth, Declan, Ada, Callen, Mira, Elijah, Julian, Lenny, Ian, Myles, Ben, and Olivia. She was the sister to Dorothy Brown, Robert Kelly, and was predeceased by her siblings Margaret Wallace, Ann Madden and Walter Crowley and was preceded in death by her former daughter-in-law Wendy Hanlon, and leaves behind several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Visitation will be held at the Farley Funeral Home, 358 Park Street (Rt. 27), Stoughton, on Tuesday March 24th from 5-7 PM. Funeral will be held the next day, Wednesday March 25th at the funeral home at 9:30 AM, followed by a Funeral Mass at Immaculate Conception Church in Stoughton at 10:30 AM. Interment will be held at Melrose Cemetery in Brockton. In lieu of flowers, donations in Mary’s memory may be made to the Boston Children’s Hospital at https://giving.childrenshospital.org/.
